I woke up this morning in the most pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. I must have slept on my neck funny or something, because my neck has been in the midst of an intense muscle spasm for the past 8 or so hours. I went to the doctor at about 3:30 and they gave me prescriptions for muscle relaxer and some type of narcotic drug that I’ve decided not to take. Apparently my neck...

Jaytee and I took a spontaneous trip to kalamazoo tonight to play a basement show after the initial headlining band cancelled just a couple days before the show. I am so glad we did. I absolutely love house shows, and can’t remember one I’ve been to that I haven’t left thinking about how much I love them. Everybody is so quiet, attentive, supportive, and open minded. I just...
